Country of Origin: United States
Based upon a hunting vest from the 1920's, the Sierra is a minimal item that easily integrates into your casual or slightly formal looks. With our signature dyed corozo nut buttons, this simple unlined design features two comfortable hand pockets and a clean 4-button front. It stands well on its own and looks brilliant as a layering piece under the Doyle, a sportcoat, or any outerwear piece. This particular fabric is four season 12oz cotton duck canvas in soft walnut brown.
12oz 100% Cotton American Duck Canvas
Descended from classic maritime workwear and sail cloth, duck canvas is a strong plain weave fabric that's beloved for its durability and comfort. With a strong weave structure, it visibly fades and ages with wear, giving it a unique character over time. Our cotton duck is woven in the United States and it's 12oz weight is comfortable through all four seasons. We ordered this cloth with a "soft touch" treatment, giving it a comfortable hand even before the first wash. With further wash and wear, you'll find that this softens even more so than your favorite jeans. This is the absolute best domestic duck canvas that we could source.
Made in Los Angeles
Each Doyle is made by a handful of skilled operators at our Downtown Los Angeles facility. Every piece is cut and assembled by hand, and their proficiency is evident in the clean finishing and consistent stitching on each garment. These are among the finest and most meticulously made garments in the United States.
