We are delighted to present the Epaulet Tennis Trainer. This is our modern day re-interpretation of the clean leather tennis shoes of the 1960s. We've retained the minimal look of the original design but we've upgraded all of the materials the offer a truly high-end product.

Produced at our European factory, Epaulet Tennis Trainers perfectly compliment the casual side of our collection. We're confident that they are the best product on the market at anything approaching this price. They'll wear in beautifully, and we believe you'll find them to be some of the most comfortable shoes that you have ever worn.

Couro Cromo means "Chrome Leather" in Portuguese. Starting with a thick, sturdy cowhide, the leather is tanned over the course of a month. This tanning process imparts a high oil and wax content to the skin, giving it a supple hand and a rich aniline finish. It breaks in quickly and comfortably, easily maintains a gorgeous sheen, and it will gain exceptional character as it ages. On the practical side, it resists water stains, cleans very easily, and wears tough. It's a truly fantastic leather and will decidedly set your trainers apart from the pack.

An Italian-made Margom rubber sole provides great traction and a cushioned ride. The sole is cemented internally and reinforced with 360° stitching to the upper. A kidskin glove leather full liner extends throughout the interior. Both whole and half sizes are available for a precise fit.

This particular colorway matches rich medium brown Couro Cromo to a an off-white ecru-colored sole.

SIZING
Epaulet Tennis Trainers run true to size. If you typically wear a 10D in dress shoes, then we recommend ordering a US10 in these. For a comparison to our dress shoes, this size would correspond to a 10D in the Alden Aberdeen last, a 9.5D in the Alden Barrie or Tru-Balance last, and a 9UK in most Carmina lasts. Many of our customers also tend to wear the same size in these as they would in a Converse Jack Purcell or Vans Authentic - which can be a useful comparison for getting fitted locally.

For European customers looking at the EU size, we also recommend purchasing your typical size.
