This new mainstay of the Epaulet Los Angeles collection is a loving homage to the classic French work jacket. Like the original, the Doyle is relatively unadorned. Two patch pockets sit at the hip, a single exterior pocket at the left breast and a mirrored, low-set interior pocket at the right. A soft point collar and single rear vent polish it off. It's an amazingly versatile style that can be worn in lieu of a blazer or over simply over a tee-shirt.
A few subtle details set the Doyle apart: the hip pockets can be entered from above as well as from the side, hidden copper rivets reinforce the pocket stitching, Japanese resin buttons close the front and taped interior seams cleanly finish the inside.
This model is made from 100% organic 10 oz French Blue (the original French work jacket color!) duck canvas. This canvas has been put through a light enzyme wash to remove shrinkage and give it a slightly distressed, broken-in feel. This amazingly versatile piece can be worn in lieu of a blazer or over a tee-shirt. As with everything we make, it has a slim, precise fit.

EPLA Shirting & Outerwear
Epaulet Los Angeles shirting is designed to be a casual counterpart to our Epaulet New York products. Made from start to finish at our workshop in Downtown LA, each piece is largely hand-made by a small team of craftspeople.
EPLA shirt sizing is intended to be consistent with our Epaulet New York shirts. So if you take a medium in our EPNY shirts, you will most likely take a medium in this. All EPLA pieces are pre-washed to remove shrinkage, so the fit that you receive will be accurate. We still recommend cold wash and hang drying for care. These fabrics are designed to age beautifully with wear, and hang drying will allow a natural fade to develop.
